The Alzheimer's Association Oregon Chapter is pleased to present these back-to-back community classes in Gresham: "Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior" and "Effective Communication Strategies." In the first class, you'll learn to decode behavioral messages, identify common behavior triggers, and learn strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer's disease. In the second class, you'll explore how communication takes place when someone has Alzheimer's and identify strategies to help you connect and communicate at each stage of the disease.
